An exquisite George II period burr walnut quarter-repeating spring table timepiece. The break arch brass dial is mounted with a silvered chapter ring flanked by foliate spandrels with a silvered subsidiary seconds ring above for rise and fall regulation flanked by mask and foliate spandrels.. There is a false pendulum aperture and a day of the month aperture within the finely matted centre. The signle fusee 8-day duration movement has a spring suspended verge escapement and a pull quarter repeating mechanism. The hours are repeated on a large bell and the quarters on the smaller bell.
